Girls in Tech was founded in 2007 by Adriana Gascoigne. Girls in Tech is a non-profit organization working to eliminate the gender gap in tech. We have over 120K members and 50 chapters around the world. 
We believe that tech needs people from all skills and backgrounds. Whether you’re a developer, marketer, designer, project manager, etc. We offer education and experiences to help people feel inspired, empowered, confident, and prepared to pursue modern careers. 
We accomplish this by connecting people with a supportive community and offering skill training and mentorship.  We aim to see every woman accepted, confident, and valued in tech—just as they are.
The Miami Chapter is currently growing and looking for board members to bring this experience to our community in South Florida.
