Wayne Simmons is a customer excellence and customer experience leader within the Chief Marketing Office (CMO) of Pfizer, where he is responsible for crafting and leading the adoption of customer-centric ways of working and serving as the company’s principal advisor on customer and experience-led growth. As the lead author of “The Customer Excellence Enterprise: A Playbook for Creating Customers for Life” (Wiley 2024), he is a recognized thought leader in bringing customer-centricity and customer experience to enterprise and global scale. He has leadership roles with Bayer Pharmaceuticals, The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center, and Marsh Mclennan and has provided customer-centric transformation and turnaround consulting to leading global brands in the financial services, consumer goods, hospitality, and retail sectors. Wayne is also on the faculty of the Master of Science in CXM degree program at Michigan State University, an Inc. 500 awarded former founder/CEO, and a US Army Intelligence veteran.
