Sergio Adames is the Director of T-Mobile’s Wholesale Business Development and New Partnerships, where he leads the teams responsible for expanding accretive business and driving strategic growth. His deep telecom and technology expertise leads T-Mobile Wholesale New Partnerships - the most trusted wholesale and B2B2X partner. 

Adames has held various senior leadership positions in a variety of telecom and technology markets across the US, Americas, Asia and Europe. Prior to his current role, Adames led T-Mobile Wholesale IoT and the Global Wireline Business Development. 

Before the merger between Sprint and T-Mobile, Sergio led Sprint’s Wholesale Strategic Accounts and IoT. Prior to that he led the Americas Wholesale Sales at the Sprint International Division. Adames also was the General Manager for Cisco in Colombia and Ecuador where he successfully achieved profitable turn-around growth in his region. Previously, he led commercial expansions on the enterprise, educational and public sectors as a full-service carrier while he was with Global One (Deutsche Telekom + France Telecom + Sprint) and Sprint International.

Adames has a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from The Pontifical Xaverian University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from INALDE Business School. His Executive education also includes the Leadership for Senior Executives Program at Harvard Business School.

He is routinely invited as a keynote speaker, panelist, and guest lecturer at multiple national and international engagements. He has also been invited to serve as a guest professor at his Alma Mater in the Engineering and Business Administration departments, as well as the MBA program. Adames has been recognized as a valuable key Executive by global market leaders such as Cisco, Global One, Sprint and currently T-Mobile and has received over 12 awards of excellence in recognition of outstanding performance for significant contributions and achievements.
