Dr. Lina Shehadeh is a Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and Founder of Empower AI Leaders LLC, an AI literacy and professional development company based in South Florida. Over the past year, she has designed and delivered 35 hands-on AI workshops at the University of Miami and 2 international workshops at the American University of Beirut, training more than 500 professionals across two countries — from faculty and researchers to administrators and business leaders. Her curriculum spans AI literacy fundamentals, automation, data visualization, and agentic AI app development. Dr. Shehadeh bridges the gap between cutting-edge AI research and practical business application, teaching non-technical professionals to build real AI systems that save time and drive growth.
