In this keynote, Julia explores how luxury hospitality is adapting to changing cultural and traveler expectations and helping shape Miami’s evolving identity — and what marketers can learn from destinations that must continually reinvent themselves while preserving their magic. Drawing from more than a decade in Miami’s luxury and lifestyle hospitality marketing landscape, she shares insights on brand strategy, storytelling, and the growing role of experience in shaping modern brand perception.

Julia Cavalieri is a marketing and brand strategist known for building culturally resonant brands and experiences across luxury hospitality. With nearly 15 years of experience spanning global hotel brands, lifestyle companies, and creative industries, she has built a career shaping meaningful brand journeys and immersive moments that drive both emotional connection and lasting brand impact.

She currently serves as Market Director of Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton South Beach and The Ritz-Carlton Bal Harbour, part of the Marriott International luxury portfolio, where she leads integrated marketing, brand strategy, and partnership development across two of Miami’s most iconic luxury resorts — translating a world-renowned brand into two distinctly positioned destination experiences. She has previously held in-house marketing leadership roles with 1 Hotels, Eden Roc Miami Beach, and Nobu Hotels, shaping brand positioning, partnerships, and guest-facing experiences for some of Miami’s most recognized hospitality brands.

In addition to her in-house leadership roles, Julia founded the boutique consultancy Tropical Disco Media and built a successful kombucha brand, bringing an entrepreneurial perspective to her work across hospitality and lifestyle. She is known for her strength in creative direction, experiential programming, and cultural collaboration, shaping campaigns, content, partnerships, and brand narratives with clarity and intention. Passionate about hospitality experiences rooted in wellness, the arts, and a strong sense of place, Julia is also a yoga teacher and lifelong creative dedicated to fostering connection through thoughtful storytelling and immersive experiences.
