Joe grew up in the mountains of VA and began his career teaching 3rd and 4th grades for nine years, which means he was also poor for nine years. Although he loved it and it was his passion, he changed careers and states, and spent 6 years recruiting and managing clients specifically within the field of cybersecurity at a startup firm. He placed the founder of his current company, TCM Security, in his first hacker job over five years ago and recently decided to join him in expanding the company’s consulting and training academy offerings.
He is a dad to the coolest kid in the world, and his wife is well out of his league. He wants to help people, above all else, and he’s grateful he gets to do this every day alongside amazing teammates.
