Brian Simpson
Brian began his career in the film and television industry at both Innovative Artists Talent Agency and then Anonymous Content, focusing on talent representation and production development. He then was recruited as an agent to Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in their sports division. As an agent at CAA and the Head of Marketing, Partnerships and Sponsorships Sales for the Combat Sports division, he ran brand partnerships for talent in the division as well as sponsorship sales, marketing, licensing agreements and consulting for the major promotions like Top Rank Boxing, Professional Fighters League and DAZN. Simpson was the first to leverage advertising technology to help leverage their talents first party data on social media and run programmatic marketing for their brand partners as well as to scale at the organizational level. He led the launch of the first athlete NFT for CAA Sports and only the 3rd overall athlete launch across all sports in March 2021 which broke records at the time of release and is still the most successful launch from CAA. Working with the CAA Global Partnerships and Sales team, he worked on sponsorship/marketing projects across the wider sports and entertainment landscape, such as the Atlanta Braves, New York Mets, Paris Saint-Germain Football, and the Tribeca Film Festival, among others. As Director of Business Development for Octopean Media, Brian ran partnerships, new business ideation and licensing agreements for major entertainment IP in the unscripted television space, such as Bar Rescue, Iron Chef, Secret Life of Mormon Wives, The Bold and the Beautiful and Biggest Loser, among others. Now as the Director, Brand Alliance and Sponsorships for Caesars Entertainment, Brian runs all sponsorship sales and brand partnership activities across the region as well as strategic nationwide properties.
