Anthony Bonamy

Small Business Development Manager, Miami-Dade County

Anthony Bonamy is the Small Business Development Manager for Miami-Dade County with 12 years of government experience. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Southern New Hampshire University. His expertise spans across municipal business tax, risk management, real estate, economic development, municipal budget, and public relations. 


Previously, Bonamy served as a Policy Analyst for Miami Dade County District 2, Administrative Assistant for the Miami Dade County School Board, and Chief of Staff for the City of Miramar. He has also worked for the City of North Miami's Business Tax Division and as a Legislative Aide for the Florida House of Representatives, District 108. Notably, he was the youngest Board Director for the North Miami Chamber of Commerce.


Bonamy has made significant contributions throughout his career, including streamlining the Business Tax process at the Clerk's office for the City of North Miami and initiating the Historic Advisory Board resolution in the City of Miramar. Additionally, at the Miami Dade County School Board, he played a key role in drafting policy to promote equity in procurement purchasing decisions.
